As the Hajj pilgrimage season draws closer, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is urging all prospective pilgrims to complete their Saudi visa biometrics at the earliest to ensure a smooth and timely process for obtaining their Hajj visas. In a statement issued on February 2, 2026, the ministry emphasized the importance of completing this step through the "Saudi Visa Bio" mobile app.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, biometric data submission is a mandatory requirement for the issuance of Saudi visas for Hajj pilgrims. This step is essential to ensure that the Saudi authorities have up-to-date identification information for each pilgrim. Failure to complete the biometric process will result in a visa denial, causing delays or the inability to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for those affected.
The ministry's spokesperson urged pilgrims to act swiftly, stating that the biometric submission must be completed using the "Saudi Visa Bio" mobile application, which can be downloaded and accessed conveniently from home. By doing so, pilgrims will be able to complete the process without the need to visit biometric centers, thus saving valuable time and effort.
The “Saudi Visa Bio” app is a user-friendly tool that allows pilgrims to submit their biometric data, including fingerprints and facial recognition, directly from their smartphones. This digital approach aims to simplify the visa application process, enabling pilgrims to complete the required documentation at their convenience.
The Ministry encourages all pilgrims to download and use the app to complete the biometric procedure. The app provides step-by-step instructions, ensuring that even those with limited technical expertise can navigate the process successfully.
For those who encounter difficulties or lack access to the necessary technology, the Ministry has outlined alternative arrangements. Pilgrims who are unable to use the app can visit one of the Saudi Tashir Centers located throughout the country. These centers will assist in completing the biometric process and will remain open until February 8, 2026.
The Tashir Centers will operate Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It is crucial to visit during these hours to ensure access to biometric services, as the centers will not be available outside of these time slots.
To further facilitate the process, the Ministry has launched the "Pak Hajj 2026" mobile app. This app is designed to provide pilgrims with comprehensive information, updates, and support throughout their Hajj journey, including guidance on biometric submission and other essential requirements.
Pilgrims are also encouraged to reach out to their respective bank branches for any assistance related to the biometric data submission process. Bank staff have been trained to help pilgrims complete the necessary steps via the mobile app, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs stresses the importance of early preparation to avoid any last-minute inconveniences. Pilgrims are advised to complete their biometric data submission through the “Saudi Visa Bio” app as soon as possible to ensure timely processing of their Hajj visas. With the support of the "Pak Hajj 2026" app and nearby Tashir Centers, pilgrims can be confident that they will receive all the assistance they need to complete their pilgrimage requirements.
For further details and assistance, pilgrims can refer to the official mobile apps or contact their respective bank branches and Tashir Centers. By adhering to these guidelines, pilgrims will be better prepared for their sacred journey to Mecca.
